Ordinary Level Educational Support Program Sinhala Seminar – O/L 2025
SFP Conducts Ordinary Level Support Program in Anuradhapura
On March 5th and 6th, 2025, SFP conducted a Sinhala subject support program for Ordinary Level students at two rural schools in Anuradhapura. The program was led by our generous donor and dedicated teacher, Pulasthi Sri Parakrama, who travelled all the way from Gampaha with his team to make this initiative possible.
On the first day, 175 students from Thalawa V participated enthusiastically. The second day was held at Mannakattuya Vidyalaya in Galenbindunuwewa, with 75 students from Thopawewa V, Moragoda V, and Siwalakulama V joining in.
Pulasthi not only provided all the study materials, managed transportation, and covered all expenses, but he also hopes to expand this program further in the future, reaching more rural schools under the SFP program. Our vision is clear—”No child left behind”—as we aim to support education in every way possible.
Sithara kindly supported the program by sponsoring refreshments for the students at short notice. The program ran from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, and the students’ honest and positive feedback was truly encouraging.
Pulasthi has been a longtime supporter of O-Level students, providing free study materials, donating computers for our online program, and offering the Zoom package for our online English classes. His dedication is a true inspiration.
Local parents contributed by preparing meals for the teachers, while SFP teachers managed the student arrangements efficiently. At SFP, we are committed to stepping in whenever there is a need, ensuring every child gets the support they deserve.
We are deeply grateful for everyone involved and look forward to continuing this mission of educational support and empowerment.
